Charities and Community Service

Your Birmingham Vulcans are more than just a rugby team. We are a club that proudly represents our city and gives back to the community locally and beyond.

These are SOME of the charities our club donates to as well as SOME other projects we participate in to give back to the community:

Donations:
–Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation – “Curing childhood cancer, one cup at a time.”
-Cystic Fibrosis Research
–Alabama Suicide Prevention and Resources Coalition – Annual fundraiser by hosting a cornhole tournament

– Friends First – Helping to support the fatherless boys of the surrounding areas of Birmingham

Community Service Projects:
–Exchange Club Child Abuse Prevention Center – Annual “Santa Sunshine Special” for Jefferson County students with severe special needs.
–Brookdale Senior Living Solutions – Dancing with the residents
–Youth Rugby Scholarship (needs based)
